Most Americans would favor a military strike against Iran if presented with evidence that the Middle Eastern country is building nuclear weapons, according to a poll released Tuesday.
The poll showed 56 percent of Americans would support armed intervention, and 53 percent said they would still support military action even if it meant higher gas prices. More people, 62 percent, said they would endorse military action by Israel.
