To meet growing expenses, the government has to borrow Rs.3.5 billion on daily basis.
According to the State Bank, the government has borrowed Rs 60 billion from 2 to 9 March. The loan taken from commercial banks during this period was Rs 69 billion. The central bank was paid Rs 8 billion during this period.
